Directions to Meguro

The closest station is Meguro Station (JR Yamanote Line, Namboku Line and Mita Line). You can also get here from Yutenji Station on the Toyoko Line. It is about 1km from Meguro Station and Yutenji Station to Training Brain Waves.
DIRECTIONS FROM MEGURO STATION
TAXI: It costs ¥660 in a taxi. Ask the taxi driver to take you to Aburamen Kosaten (Intersection). All taxi drivers know this intersection. If they don't know it they are from out of town so get another taxi. In Japanese say: Aburamen Kosaten itte kudasai. Aburamen shingo no saki tomete kudasai. Get out in front of the Mini Stop Convenience Store.

BUS: Even though it is very close you need to allow 15 minutes to get from Meguro Station to Aburamen on the bus. If you use the JR Yamanote Line come out of the ticket gate and turn left. You will see the buses in front of you. If you come from the Nanboku Line or the Mita Line go up to ground level and you will see a crosswalk in front of you. The buses are on the other side of the crosswalk.

You will see the 01, 02 & 06 buses. You can catch any of these buses. It costs ¥210. You need to go 3 stops on all of the buses. The second bus stop is called Otori Jinja Mae (it is named after the beautiful Shinto Shrine it is in front of).
The third bus stop is called Moto Keibajyo Mae. It is next to the Tokyu Supermarket. Get off the bus here and walk in the same direction as the bus until you get to Aburamen Kosaten (Intersection).

If you end up at Meguro Fire Station (Meguro Shobosho Mae) you have gone one stop too far, so get off the bus and walk in the opposite direction to the bus to get to Aburamen Kosaten (Intersection).

WALKING: It is about 1km from Meguro Station to Training Brain Waves. It takes 10 -15 minutes to walk. Please follow the map.

Meguro Dori is also called "furniture street" in Japanese due to the many designer furniture stores found here. People come from all over Tokyo to see them.
